Life story

Incident summary

Adel was born in Ahvaz, but he lived in Isfahan. It was in Isfahan that he lost his life. We know nothing about what happened in those final moments. On the night of 19 Dey, Adel went out with a friend. When his friend saw people being struck by live bullets and falling to the ground one after another, he lost sight of Adel in the crowd and told him, "Come on, let's go back." But Adel stepped forward to help. He told his friend, "You go ahead, I'll come." The last words he said to his friend were, "A person should die with honor." From that night on, we searched for him everywhere, but there was no trace of him. After eight days, Bagh-e Rezvan Cemetery in Isfahan called us and asked us to come to identify his beloved body. Adel had lost his life on 19 Dey, and they had kept his lifeless body from us for eight days.
