On the 19th of Dey, late at night in Ferdowsi Square, he was shot in the heart and was killed by the hands of the criminal Islamic Republic.
Memorial narrative
Soroush was a young man with great dreams, taken from us far too soon. His heart was so kind that it is impossible to understand how anyone could bring themselves to shoot him. Soroush deserved to live. He was full of hope for the future and worked tirelessly to build a better life. Like all those whose memory lives on, Soroush's presence is still felt beside us every day. Soroush is our hero.
