On 18 Dey, Parsa left home and joined the protesters, standing alongside his friends. According to the account provided, the area was plunged into darkness when the lights were turned off. Soon afterward, a powerful tear gas was deployed, followed by heavy gunfire directed toward the crowd. Parsa was struck by a bullet in the lower back.
