Mohammad Rousta
Mohammad was our oldest brother. He was incredibly courageous and a man of deep integrity. He had no fear of this regime. He had a good job and a stable income, yet he could not remain silent. Even though he was the father of an 11-year-old son, he chose to stand for what he believed was right and followed that path with conviction.

Life story
Mohammad was our oldest brother. He was incredibly courageous and a man of deep integrity. He had no fear of this regime. He had a good job and a stable income, yet he could not remain silent. Even though he was the father of an 11-year-old son, he chose to stand for what he believed was right and followed that path with conviction.
Incident summary
On 20 Dey, Mohammad went to the protests. Around midnight, his wife called to say that he had not returned home. From the following day on, we searched for him everywhere, but no one gave us a clear answer. On 24 Dey, his body was identified at the Law Enforcement morgue. Two days later, on 26 Dey, he was returned to us. There were signs of torture on his face, and he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his throat.
