On 19 Dey, Nazanin went into the streets with her family. She carried water and face masks in her backpack and helped others. When the crowd scattered, Nazanin stayed behind. She picked up a stone to defend herself, but a sniper shot her in the back of the head. Nazanin died in her father's arms.
