Life story

He supported animal welfare and helped children engaged in child labor. He had a four-year-old daughter and deeply loved Iran.

Incident summary

On the evening of the 19th, he went out to feed the dogs. Afterward, he joined the protests in Phase One of Pardis. At around 9 p.m., two unidentified people brought his barely alive body to his home. His wife took him to the hospital, but he died there due to severe blood loss. We were first told that he was at Kahrizak. We stayed there for two days but could not find him. Then we were told that he had been taken to Behesht-e Zahra in Tehran. We spent another three days there, but he was not there either. Later, they told us that he had been taken to Damavand and that they would contact us when his body was ready to be released. Two days later, they called us. We held his funeral and burial ceremony on Thursday, the 25th of Dey, under an extremely heavy security presence.

Memorial narrative

On the afternoon of the 19th of Dey, he told his wife that he truly wished to sacrifice his life for the freedom of Iran. His wish was fulfilled all too soon.
