Reza Esmaeilzadeh

Reza Esmaeilzadeh left his home on 8 Dey 1404 and never returned. According to records registered by the Mashhad Criminal Investigation Department, the last signal transmitted from his SIM card was detected in the Tous Boulevard area of Mashhad. After that, his mobile phone was switched off. From the very first days, his family and loved ones were left in complete uncertainty. No institution or authority provided any information about his whereabouts, and despite their persistent efforts, Reza's name was not recorded in any official detention or government facility. After 12 days of relentless searching, on 30 Dey, his family was summoned to the Criminal Investigation Department, where the identification process was carried out. They were then referred to Behesht-e Reza Cemetery in Mashhad to receive his body. The body of the late Reza Esmaeilzadeh was returned to his family on 1 Bahman. Reza Esmaeilzadeh lost his life during the Shir-o-Khorshid events. According to the family's account, he died as a result of the crackdown carried out by the forces of the Islamic Republic. He was a young man who disappeared for days, whose voice went unheard, and whose fate was revealed to his family only after a painful delay and in silence. May his memory and name live on forever.
