Incident summary
On the evening of the 18th of Dey, during the nationwide Lion and Sun Revolution protests in Meymand, Fars Province, he was shot with live bullets by forces from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) near the Sepah base at Sepah Square. He was struck in the left arm and the chest. He was taken to a local clinic in a private car, but because the facility lacked adequate equipment and medical staff, he was transferred to Firuzabad in an old ambulance. He later died on the way, sacrificing his life for his homeland. In the final moments of his life, he still had a smile on his face. When a nurse asked him, “Why did you go?”, he replied, “For you—for freedom.” 😭 May his memory and name live on.
