Naser Nasiri
The late Naser Nasiri, 52 years old, originally from Rudbar and a resident of Sarv-e Azad Township in the Chitgar district of Tehran, was the father of two daughters, aged 27 and 14. He was a noble, hardworking, and patriotic man, a kind husband, and a patient father who won the hearts of many through his warmth, integrity, and humanity. For nearly 30 years, Naser Nasiri devoted his life to supporting his family through hard work, responsibility, and dedication. He was due to retire at the end of Dey and, after years of tireless work, begin a new chapter in his life. Tragically, he never had the chance to see that day. On the evening of 19 Dey, Naser Nasiri lost his life after being struck directly in the heart by a live bullet in the Sarv-e Azad neighborhood of Tehran. According to the account provided, the shot was fired by forces stationed on the rooftop of a Basij base. After hours of searching, his family eventually found the late Naser Nasiri's body at Trita Hospital. However, before it was released to them, it had been transferred to the Kahrizak Forensic Medicine Center. After many more hours of searching and follow-up there, the family was finally able to receive his body. The late Naser Nasiri was laid to rest on 21 Dey in his hometown of Rudbar. After returning, he handed the bread to his family and told them that he would stay at the end of the street for a few minutes and would soon come back home. At around 7:45 p.m., his family had their last phone call with him, during which he reassured them that he would return home shortly. A few minutes later, they repeatedly tried to call his mobile phone, but the phone lines were down, and they were unable to reach him. At approximately 8:15 p.m., the sound of gunfire was heard in the area. Worried after losing contact with him, his family and relatives went to the scene, where they found a large pool of blood on the ground in front of the Basij base. They asked neighbors, acquaintances, and people present at the scene about Naser Nasiri's whereabouts and also questioned the forces stationed outside the Basij base about whether anything had happened. Everyone claimed to know nothing, and no one provided the family with any information. The family continued to believe that he might have been detained and never imagined that he had been struck by direct gunfire. For hours, they searched the surrounding neighborhoods, Basij bases, police stations, police facilities, and other related centers, but found no trace of him. At around 11:00 p.m., a local shopkeeper who knew Naser Nasiri informed the family that someone had been wounded by gunfire in the area and had likely been taken to a hospital. The family then began searching nearby hospitals, and at approximately 1:00 a.m., they finally found Naser Nasiri's name at Trita Hospital.
